ロンドン旅行

今回はベルギーの「ブルージュ」、イギリス食器の工場の街「ストーク・オン・トレント」＆私の定番「ロンドン」に行ってきました。自宅は父に留守番を頼み、会社は皆さんにご理解をいただき、ゆっくり9日間。

まずは、ロンドンで滞在していたサロンの生徒さんでもある、この夏からロンドンに駐在しているSaki-chanのおうちホーランドパークのお部屋からとったロンドン。

ホーランドパークは私がロンドンで住んでいたエリアでもあるんですが、とっても緑が多い住宅街です。裏通りは外交官も多く住む高級住宅街です。

セカンドハウスのようになった彼女の家のはとっても快適。初日に、お部屋の大改造計画の依頼を受け、インテリアのレイアウト変更、小物や生活雑貨をどんどん買ってきて、デコレーションしちゃいました☆イギリスでお部屋を借りると、家具つきなので、自分の好みでないものがあると、どうアレンジするか、試行錯誤するものです。午前中は家事をし、午後から街を駆け回り、情報収集＆買いつけ。忙しいけど、時間の使い方は、まさに駐在員の妻のような日課ですね（笑）
