シルバーポット入荷
先日、シルバーウェアの即売Partyに行き、会場で購入しました。
1870年後半～1880年頃の[HA EA FA]ポットです。
メーカー名は、[Atkin Brothers]は、シェフィールドの有名メーカーです。 3人兄弟で設立したメーカーのため、3つの刻印から成り立っているそうです。
年代が判別できる理由は、ポットのフィニアル（ツボミ）にあり、このツボミが多く用いられた時代は1870年後半～1880年代で、ジャポニズムが流行した時代です。このツボミは「西洋からみた東洋の茶葉のツボミ」と現代では多く解説されており、東洋に実在するツボミではありません。西洋人は、東洋を空想の世界で描写していたそうです。
ホールマークをみるには、シャーロックホームズのようなルーペ。７年ほど前にイギリスで購入。
ティーストレーナーは穴数によって紅茶がおちるスピードが変わります。数が少ないと溢れそうになったり、時間がかかって、スマートに紅茶をいれられないものですが、心配必要ない万能物！
イギリス、シェフィールド製でとても綺麗です。とっても可愛い子で、一ヶ月ほど、サロンのキャビネットで大切に保管しておりましたが、私は数多く持っているので、もっと可愛がってくださりそうな、Y様に本日のレッスンでお譲りしました。ティーストレーナーも喜んでいることでしょう♪
さて、こんな素敵なシルバーは、ONSLOW GARDENS様の販売品。会場にはたくさんの素敵な商品があり中でも目を引くのは、貝のようなビスケットウォーマー。

メルマガと一緒にUPを準備をしていたら、大変遅くなってしまいました。
シルバーは、東京用と大阪用はわけていらっしゃったようですよ。
大阪の商品で逆にないものがありましたから・・・
メルマガがお勉強にお役にたてたようで、嬉しいです。
シルバー購入暦7-8年ならではの目線ですし、少しでも綺麗で
気になるけど、買うのはどうしよう・・・と迷われている方に
