女王の記念プレート
2002年は、エリザベス女王(Ⅱ)が戴冠してから50周年を祝う「ゴールデン・ジュビリー」のイベントがバッキンガム宮殿を中心に行われていました。この特別な記念をお祝いして、たくさんのグッズが販売されていましたが、イギリスにいなかったせいか、どうもコレクションとして手にいれなくても良い気分になっていたのです。しかし数年経つうちに、事の重要さを深く感じ、機会を狙っていました。そして、やっと発見！2/23～3/1まで渋谷東急本店でテーブルコーディネートフェア2006が開催されており、そこにいらしていた業者の方がジュビリーのデミタスカップをお持ちだったのです。プレートが欲しかったので、お尋ねしたところ、すぐ取り寄せてくださいました。Happy♪
東急本店のテーブルコーディネートフェアのテーブルセッティングは東京ドームで展示されていた1月～12月＋αの15コーディネイターの作品。ドームで見落としているものもあり、ドームのように混雑していなかったので、ゆっくり見学できました。毎年、東急本店で開催されていますし、セッティングお目当ての方でしたら、無料で見学できますので、来年の同時期にチェックしてみてください。
