旅行 紅茶編
今回はプライベート旅行なので、レッスン用の紅茶の買い付けはしていません。とはいってもプライベートで楽しむ紅茶は購入しました。フルリーフは制覇しぎみなので、珍しくティーバックを多くチョイスしました。旅行BLOG最後のしめくくりは、ようやく先生らしい紅茶です。
まずは、滞在していたマリオットホテルで用意されていた紅茶は「RONNEFELDT」。ロンネフェルトは最近日本でもホテルやショップでも置かれていますが、私が出会ったのは紅茶留学中のイギリス。1823年ドイツのフランクフルトで開業しヨーロッパやロシア、そして日本にもその評判は広がってきました。イギリスとフランスを除きヨーロッパホテルのスタンダードと思うほど、よく見かけます。
そしてハンガリーのブタペストのレストランでも見かけたお湯を沸かす大きなケトル？2度目のご対面なのに名前を確認してくるのを忘れました・・・関連書籍で調べましたが、でてこない～どなたかご存知ですか？イギリスには見かけませんが、私の印象だと、寒い国でお湯を沸かす大型ケトルという感じでしょうか。
Made in Swithlandの紅茶。紅茶がないヨーロッパはないでしょうが、スイス産の紅茶は知りませんでした。スイスの大型スーパーでは、マリアージュフレールやヨーロッパメジャーのブランドもありながら、現地の方が選んでいるのは、スイスのコーヒーメーカー「HEMMI＆BAUR AG ZURICH」。さっぱりこくのあるミルクティー向き「アッサム」とアイスティー向きの「ケニヤ」です。初めてのメーカーはフルリーフ。
そして、イタリアの商店のようなお店で購入したのは、故イギリスのダイアナ妃が愛した「WHITTARD」です。「アールグレイ」のティーバックは、2月のスコーンレッスンで使います。スコーン用のティーバック紅茶も侮ってはいけません！アールグレイのスコーンは茶葉が細かく香りが高いティーバックがベストです。ミルクティーでもしっかり濃い色。ウィッタードのブルーのパッケージは、とっても私好み。2月のスコーンレッスンにいらっしゃる皆様、お楽しみに～♪
癒しのハーブティー。
ペルーで飲まれている「HORNIMANS」。ホーニマンズの定番なさっぱり「ミント」は口がすっきり爽快で後味がピリッとします。甘い香りの「カモマイル」は、どんな舌の状態でもニュートラルに戻ってしまうほどハーブティーの威力発揮しています。
Poleo-Menta Manzanilla
ドイツの「POMPADOUR」。ポンパドール社は120年の歴史を持つドイツ最大手のハーブティーメーカーです。世界一を誇る品質、生産量で、50数カ国の人々に愛されています。ティーバッグは自然原料のみで作られ、ノンカフェインなので就寝前にぐっすり眠りたい人にもお奨め。今回のミントの中では1番優しいミントで甘みがあります。
フランスのスーパー「Auchan」の「Verbena Menta」。このミントティーは、パッケージが珍しいビニールでさらに蒸らす時間5-8分表示。8分も蒸らす紅茶珍しいですよね。飲んだことないのですが、この気になる表示に興味本位で買いました。8分蒸らしても、お味はきつくないミントでしっかり色もでています。
ティスティングディの今日はBLOGを書きながら2時間で6杯のティーをいただきました。さすがに満腹。
旅行特集のBLOGは一週間かかっちゃいました（＾＾）BLOGをご覧いただき、ヨーロッパ旅行の気分を味わっていただけたら、私も満足です。
