イギリス大使館
友人からお誘いいただき、イギリス大使館のジュニアグループ恒例、サマーパーティーに行きました。都内に数多くある大使館ですが、その中でもイギリス大使館は広い敷地で緑も多く、立派な建物。
大使館のイベントは会員になっている方が基本で、会員が招待したゲストは同行することが出来ます。毎年会員になろうか迷いつつ、友人からのお誘いで満足してしまっています。ジュニア会員は年齢制限があり、いつの間にオーバーしてしまった私・・・何年も見送りすぎですね。
パーティは、緑に囲まれた中庭で野外BBQ。BBQのポピュラーな焼肉はなく、海外らしくジャンボサイズなハンバーガーとハーブがきいたチキンとサラダ。都内にいるのに、ガーデンにいると、ここはまさにイギリス。
そして、私の夢の1つは、ガーデンティーパーティ開催。今年は見送りましたが、来年こそは実現できるように、今からプランを膨らませたいです。素敵なアイディアがありましたら、一緒に実現しませんか？

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface.
