午後ティー
膨大な商品が生まれては消える日本の清涼飲料水市場の中で、強力なブランドバリューを持つ"午後ティー"こと"午後の紅茶"。本格的な紅茶とはまた別の味わいのものではありますが、日本での紅茶人気を牽引する商品のひとつであることは間違いありません。この午後ティー、これまでも中国での販売はありましたが、今月から台湾でも発売されているそうです。味も台湾向けに開発されているようですね。
仕事で中国に半年ほど駐在しておりました時に、中国版午後ティーを飲んでみましたが、日本よりも甘みが強かった様に思います。糖分が強いというより、乳化剤の甘みと保存料の独特の甘みと言った方がいいかもしれません。なぜか緑茶やホテルで頂くフルーツも、独特の甘みを感じました。。。夏休みに台湾旅行へ行かれる方、台湾版午後ティーをお試しになってみてはいかがでしょうか？
